Yes, all applicants will need to provide a financial guarantee to show proof of financial ability to pay for tuition and fees at Global Launch.
Students will need to have this as basic requirements for online learning:
You must speak with an advisor in your degree department and ask them if they will accept the Global Launch English for Graduate Admissions online course instead of the IGPP for proof of English Proficiency. Your graduate department must re-issue a letter to Global Launch authorizing the change.
GPE 96 - Graduate Presentations & Communication Skills: This course is integral for the students’ success in Master’s programs because it helps students develop their ability to persuade, inform, and motivate an audience. It covers key competencies such as identifying audience, purpose, and context; researching and organizing information; preparing and delivering effective visual aids; and communicating concisely in English. The other component of this course builds competency in cross-cultural communication through developing cultural perspectives. The course will be coupled with activities that will include impromptu technical-themed presentations, evaluations by the professor, and feedback from peers.
GPE 97 - Graduate Reading Strategies: Utilizing individual students’ course of study, this course is designed to give graduate-bound students a thorough grounding in strategies and techniques for efficient and effective reading of complex, dense texts expected of graduate degrees. Through the problem-analysis/team-solution model, graduate students will build foundations for critically analyzing texts and utilizing them for resolving real-world issues in business and technology, while amassing a graduate-level English lexis.
GPE 95 - Graduate Academic and Technical Writing: Aspiring leaders in technology and science must be able to communicate their ideas in an understandable, logical, and persuasive manner; effective writing in English is essential for both graduate-level students and professionals. Through the exploration of efficient techniques and writing processes for targeting specific audiences with effective content, this course helps students develop the skills needed to write clearly and succinctly, in both academic and technical settings.
GPE 91 - Academic and Business Writing Skills: Aspiring business leaders must be able to communicate their ideas in an understandable, logical, and persuasive manner; effective writing in English is essential for both graduate-level students and professionals. This course helps students develop the skills needed to write clearly and effectively, in both academic and business settings, through the exploration of efficient techniques and writing processes for targeting specific audiences with impactful content.
