While fluency in the English language is necessary to understand concepts and to express yourself effectively at an American university, success in Arizona State University’s rigorous and fast-paced, graduate-level courses extend beyond language competency, and cannot be measured or taught by standardized language tests.
Arizona State University now offers in-person English language and academic preparation courses for ASU graduate degree-seeking applicants who lack the required English proficiency scores needed to be directly admitted to ASU’s graduate degree programs.
The Global Launch International Graduate Preparation Program (IGPP) provides an alternative to the TOEFL exam, giving you the necessary tools to succeed in the graduate-level classroom at one of the top research universities in the U.S.
